Kitchen Helper

Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc., Aging and Nutrition Services Department is accepting applications for a part-time Kitchen Helper. The permanent, part-time position will be scheduled approximately 30 hours per week on Mondays atSwanton Senior Center(335 Swanton Rd., Swanton MD 21561) and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday atGrantsville Senior Center(125 Durst Ct., Grantsville, MD 21536)Primary responsibilities include:- Welcoming clients- Accepting lunch reservations- Food preparation- Serving dine-in guests- Packaging home-delivered meals for Meals on Wheels clients- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchenPreferred qualifications:- Experience with older adults- Basic computer skills- ServSafe certificationCompensation:This is a permanent, part-time position of 30 hours per week.Pay from $15.38 per hour to $18.37 per hour depending on experience.Application Process:Applications will be accepted until the position is filled at the Human Resource Office of Garrett County Community Action, Attn: Marlin Bender, 104 E.
