Clean Brands has over 100 combined years of garment care expertise that they bring to their customers. Lapels Laundromats will be state of the art stores that will offer garment care through several means: traditional self-service laundry, full-service laundry offering wash, dry and fold services, and dry cleaning. Essential Job Functions: Laundry Associate As a Laundry Associate, you will be a key part of our team, serving as the face of the laundromat and ensuring our customers have a positive experience. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service and are eager to take on the following responsibilities: Customer Assistance: o Help customers with laundry card usage, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, wash and fold services, drycleaning services, and any other inquiries or concerns. Point-of-Sale Operations: o Accurately operate the point-of-sale system for all transactions. Product Knowledge & Sales: o Maintain thorough knowledge of the equipment as well as the products sold and their uses, and actively encourage customers to purchase additional items. Retail Sales & Stocking: o Ensure retail items are always neatly stocked and well-organized. Communicate with management when inventory or janitorial supplies are running low. Maintenance & Safety: o Use logbooks to report any building or equipment maintenance issues. Immediately notify your supervisor of any unsafe situations or concerns that arise during your shift. Wash & Fold Service: o Consistently provide high-quality wash and fold services. Accurately use the logbook to track orders and equipment usage. Address customer concerns and inform your supervisor of any complaints or claims. Drycleaning Service: o Consistently provide high-quality drycleaning services. Accurately use the logbook to track orders and equipment usage. Address customer concerns and inform your supervisor of any complaints or claims. Adherence to Policies: o Follow all company policies, including attendance and uniform standards, and ensure you present a clean, professional appearance. Safety & Emergency Preparedness: o Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries to customers and coworkers. Be prepared for emergencies like fires, snowstorms, and severe weather. Store Cleanliness & Upkeep: o Regularly walk the floor to pick up debris, empty trash bins, check bathrooms, inspect/clean washer and dryer lint and drain screens, and complete other necessary cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment inside and outside of the store. This role requires individuals who provide excellent customer service, keeping the store clean, and ensuring a safe, smooth operation.
