Part-Time Housekeeper in NYC

New York City A family of two adults, two small dogs, and an adult daughter (when visiting) is seeking a part-time housekeeper. General schedule is Monday-Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required. The ideal candidate is experienced, discreet, detail-oriented, and professional. You should be able to manage cleaning, organization, laundry, and ironing in a high-net-worth household. The ability to read a room knowing when to give privacy and when to focus on certain areas of the home. Responsibilities: Manage the cleanliness and organization of the main residence and additional properties Take direction well from family and household staff to meet the family's needs Perform routine cleaning and deep cleaning to ensure all properties are in pristine condition Inventory management (including replenishment/ ordering) and organization Ability to assist with special requests and run errands as needed. Manage all laundry for the household, including washing, ironing, and caring for delicate fabrics, basic sewing Manage dry cleaning and login all clothing sent out and received Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of a storage unit and other off-site properties Work closely with the family, adapting to their dynamic and busy schedules Ensure discretion and confidentiality when dealing with high-profile individuals Assist with pet care, including cleaning their areas and providing general support Overseeing regular (e.g. HVAC) and one-off vendors Requirements: Proven experience as a Housekeeper in high-profile homes with a 3+ years experience Flexibility to work as per the family & scheduling needs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Discretion and professionalism Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The right candidate for this role is: Detail-oriented, trustworthy, well-organized, respectful, discrete, positive, energetic and punctual A self-starter and happy to work autonomously or collaboratively with other team members Very professional with great experience and discretion Forward thinking and organized Love their work and have a long-term outlook Have excellent English communication skills
