The shift will be from 1:30 PM to 11:30 PM (will be offering 3 signature drinks + well drinks) Michi Catering, a family-run, Asian American-owned business, is seeking skilled bartenders for multiple 2025-26 weddings in the Bay Area (San Francisco, East Bay, and beyond). We're looking for ex-bartenders who've transitioned to other careers but miss the craft or current bartenders seeking weekend gig work. Our events are fast-paced, high-energy, and require precision in crafting cocktails for 100-200 guests. What We're Looking For: - 2+ years of professional bartending experience in restaurants, bars, or upscale events (festival or casual bottle-opening gigs don't count). - Ability to mix classic and signature cocktails (e.g., margaritas, martinis, mojitos) without a jigger, with speed and accuracy. - Punctual, professional, and positive attitudeour team thrives on respect and teamwork. - Comfortable as a 1099 contractor, handling your own taxes and benefits. - Availability for weekend events, March-November Compensation & Perks: - $30-$33/hour starting pay, based on experience (paid via Zelle or Venmo within 7 days post event). - Tips, when available, split among the bar team. (Not always applicable) - Staff dinner provided at 90% of events. - Opportunity to join a tight-knit, reliable team with repeat gigs for top performers.
