Job Summary:

The Barback at Marina Bar & Grill supports bartenders by maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar, ensuring timely restocking of beverages, glassware, garnishes, and supplies. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the bar and guest satisfaction, and it requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Restock all bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and paper goods.

Maintain cleanliness andanization of the bar area, including counters, coolers, and back bar.

Ensure garnishes and bar condiments are prepped and available.

Assist bartenders with ice, trash removal, and other needs during peak hours.

Clean and reset bar and surrounding areas at the beginning and end of shifts.

Transport supplies and inventory from storage areas as needed.

Provide support in maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Greet guests when appropriate and assist in creating a weing atmosp.

Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Comply with all resort and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a bar, cafe, or restaurant setting preferred but not required.

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to take direction.

Excellent time management andanizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.) as well as inside in climate control.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and reach regularly.

Must be able to navigate stairs and ramps as needed.

Mus work in a Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosp focused on excellent guest service.
