MUST:
3+years of experience in a private specialty medical practice
Experience scheduling procedures
EMR Proficiency
Experience checking patients in and out
Collecting and applying co-pays
Insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
HS diploma

DUTIES:
The Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to the following:
Scheduling procedures
Checking patients in and out
Scheduling appointments and procedures
Verifying insurance
Obtaining pre-authorizations
Entering patient information into EMR
Collecting co-pays and outstanding payments
Providing customer service
