The Giant Busser (Server Assistant) will be warm, hospitable, professional and exacting while providing above and beyond service in line with Giant standards and values. We are looking for well-presented, organized individuals who want to be part of a team long term.

Must be available to work nights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday .

Responsibilities:

• Setting up, detailing, and maintaining dining room, tables, and stations to standards required
• Professional and accurate running of food and beverage items
• Maintaining service stations via efficient bussing to dish pit
• Assist service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including water service, clearing and cleaning tables, resetting tables, and restocking service tools, etc.
• Maintaining stock of water bottles and all relevant service-ware
• Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware.
• Effectively communicating service irregularities to all
• Assisting in producing checks
• Understanding food menu and be able to answer general questions
• Understanding bar menu and to be able to answer general questions
• Respond to guest requests, communicating requests to server as needed
• Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service

Skills & Requirements

• Willing to train the right person, but 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Must possess strong empathy and be team oriented
• Exceptional communication, service and floor skills
• Ability to work in an organized and meticulous manner with strong attention to small details
• Solution-focused, receptive to constructive criticism and general performance feedback
• Have strong interest in food & wine, & hospitality
• Uncompromising work ethic with a relish for new challenges

Physical Demands

• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation: Hourly ($13.00 - $15.00) plus tips
