Front of House Staff/ Bakery Helper (PT)

Work with customers Assist in in-house production of wholesale and retail bread
production. May assist with marketing events and social media promotions. Opportunity to support offsite
pop-up sale events (setup, sales, and cleanup).
General Hours Part time shifts, some weekends, some
holidays. approx. 18-35 hours. closing shift from approx 8 am to 4 pm

Essential Functions Responsibilities:

Greet and serve customers in-person or by phone, answer product questions
Prepare online or phone orders
Maintain cleanliness in front counter and customer-facing area
Pack bread and arrange in baskets
Unload and stock ingredients in storage areas
Clean and store equipment and utensils
Organize and maintain cleanliness of work area
Ensure high product quality and consistency for customer satisfaction
Assist bakers with various other duties, as needed

Job Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Adaptability and self-motivated to gets things done
Ability to multi-task and and follow production schedule
Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment properly and safely
Ability to bend, lift and grasp pans, bowls, pots, etc. and their contents, as needed
Ability to be subject to environmental exposure to temperatures (ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Ability to maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
Ability to work work effectively with other employees with respect for self and others
Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance
Experience in commercial bakery or food production a plus
Ability to speak English is essential and multiple languages a plus
