Responsibilities:
-Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
-Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
-Sort and organize clean dishes and kitchenware for easy access during service.
-Assist in cleaning and maintaining other areas of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
-Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling.
-Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and notify management of any shortages or equipment malfunctions.-
-Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications:
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy shifts.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
-Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs.)
-Good communication skills and ability to work well with the kitchen team.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
-Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a strong work ethic.
-Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff and management.
Experience and Training:
-Experience is preferred but not required.
-We will train new employees to be prepared for all aspects of the job.
-High Character, good attitude, and a positive team-orientated mindset are essential.
Pay and Schedule:
-Hourly Pay: $13-15 per hour starting rate.
-Full-Time: 30-40 hours a week
-Part-Time: 10-30 hours a week
-Longer (up to 12 hours) and shorter (6 hours or less) shifts will be available.
-Periodic breaks will be given based on hours worked.
