The California Grand Casino, an East Bay Card-room with a full service restaurant, seeks professional, responsible individual who is interested in joining our team as an experienced line cook.

The kitchen is open 7 days a week from 8 am - 11 pm. Schedule will be full time but has yet to be determined.

If you do not have a current Food Handler Certification, we will assist you in obtaining one.

Job Duties:

Prep and cook a wide variety of dishes in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Wok cooking experience helpful.

Cook, prep, and clean as assigned.

Successful candidate profile:

Attention to detail and a willingness to work quickly and safely while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

Team player with verbal communication skills in English.

Minimum of 4 years line experience at full service restaurants.

Minimum of 1 year Wok cooking experience preferred.

Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
