Job Description- Maintains a positive attitude at all times while supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles.
- Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards; show commitment to Team objectives; be aware of Guest Satisfaction scores and work to achieve these goals as a team. Show interest in staying well informed about the department and the property.
- Performs general and preventative maintenance, EGD moves and conversions, as directed.
- Identifies and troubleshoots problems with the slot data system.
- Effectively communicates status of EGDs or other related gaming equipment with on-coming and out-going shifts, as well as immediate supervisor.
- Assist casino guests with general questions concerning Ameristar Casino Resort St. Charles; while also creating Magical and Memorable Moments .
- Performs other duties as assigned by department leader.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift.
- Must be able to work for extended periods of time in an environment that is typically crowded, noisy and smoky.
- Must be able to work in, and provide Guest Service and Magical and Memorable Moments in an environment where alcohol consumption is prevalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Provide representation of department in specific project and company meetings.
- Must be able to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
