About the Role:As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you'll embark on a rewarding journey to become a skilled professional in our dynamic production environment. You'll work alongside experienced Maintenance Technicians, learning how to repair and conduct preventive work on our facility equipment along with all building maintenance so that the facility operations in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Assist experienced Maintenance Technicians with various tasks, including repair and preventive maintenance on machinery.Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing safety protocols at all times.Observe and learn proper operation and maintenance of assembly tools and equipment.Learn to install, inspect, start-up, troubleshoot and repair production equipment.Build, test, modify and maintain industrial control systems.Read technical diagrams and schematics.Install, test, modify, and maintain electrical assemblies.Assemble, disassemble, secure and machinery and systems.Use manual and metalworking machinery.Install and configure programs for hardware and software components.Wire motors and drives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be eligible to work in the US.Able to use shop equipment, including assorted power tools.Enrolled in a Mechatronics program preferred.Must have valid driver's license and a clean criminal background.Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment a plus.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.Ability to learn and follow instructions effectively.Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50lbs.Eagerness to learn and a desire for a long-term career in maintenance.
