Parc 55 - a Hilton hotel, 55 Cyril Magnin Street, San Francisco, 94102The Parc 55 San Francisco is looking for its next Guest Service Agent to join their Front Office team! This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about customer service and eager to grow in the hospitality industry.The sleek boutique hotel has 1024 guest rooms and is located steps from Powell Street and Westfield San Francisco Shopping Center. It's an ideal location for both work and leisure! The ideal candidate would have an outgoing personality, with at least one year of experience in a customer service role; hospitality experience is highly preferred, and schedule flexibility is required.
Classification: Full-Time
Shifts: Must be able to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Wage range: $32.06 to $33.50 per hour
What will I be doing?As a Guest Services Agent, you will greet and register guests and assist with check-out, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial accuracy. Your responsibilities include:
Greeting guests, completing registration, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing welcome packets, and guiding guests to their rooms or accompanying them with bell staff
Assisting guests during check-out, ensuring accurate billing, handling payments and credit/debit transactions, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards
Having thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area details, to answer guest inquiries
Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy
Responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously
Handling guest complaints, conducting research, and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction
Receiving, inputting, retrieving, and relaying messages to guests
