Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bartenders and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food and beverage industry and are eager to learn about bar operations.

Duties

Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.

Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.

Help with bussing tables and removing empty glasses or bottles to keep the area tidy.

Support in preparing garnishes and other bar ingredients as needed.

Ensure that all equipment is clean and functioning properly.

Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests in a friendly manner.

Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to kitchen or catering, is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.

Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment typical of nightclubs or bars.

Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

A keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar area.
