Custodian

Description:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Custodian will assist in keeping the campus clean and safe.
They will performs routine and special cleaning of facilities and buildings to ensure they are clean, sanitary and in orderly condition.
20 % Sweeps, mops, waxes and vacuums floors/carpets (Must operation equipment such as buffer, auto-scrubbers and burnishers)
20 % Dusts and polishes furniture and Fixtures
20 % Cleans classrooms, common areas, restrooms, locker rooms and equipment; Washes and cleans walls, windows, vents, lights including replacing ceiling lamps (Must be willing to work on ladders and lifts)
15 % Empties trash for classrooms and common areas.
15 % Performs assigned tasks in response to requests and complaints; Keeps assigned tools and/or equipment in clean and safe working condition; Moves furniture and equipment
10 % Performs other duties as assigned
