Job Overview

Fairview is looking for an Environmental Services Aide at our Fairview Lakes Location in Wyoming, MN! This is a full time position offering 80 hrs over a 2 week pay period and is benefit eligible!

Summary: This position will perform cleaning duties as assigned to keep the facility orderly, attractive, clean and sanitary.

Schedule

Week1:

M-F: 6am-2:30pm

Week 2:

M-F: 6am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Performs cleaning assignments per department procedures and protocols
  • Demonstrates proper emergency and security response
  • Demonstrates accurate use and care of equipment
  • Accurately cares for equipment and takes action for preventive maintenance
  • Uses safety precautions
  • Provides excellent Customer Service
  • Uses appropriate verbal and nonverbal greetings
  • Demonstrates a willing and helpful attitude
  • Demonstrates respect for customer’s need for privacy
  • Performs activities in an encouraging, courteous, and adaptable manner
  • Transports furniture and equipment as requested
  • Reports mechanical failures or negative conditions to appropriate supervisor
  • Interpersonal Relations with Healthcare Team
  • Offers and values constructive criticism
  • Resolves issues in an encouraging manner
  • Uses first party communication
  • Demonstrates respect for others
  • Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Qualifications

  • Education

    High school diploma/GED preferred

    Experience

    Previous Housekeeping/Environmental Service experience

    Special Considerations: Due to differences in scope of care, practice, or service across settings, the specific experience required for this position may vary. Depending on individual job assignment must be able to operate automated cleaning equipment/machinery.
