THE JOB:

As a Starbucks Barista, you are doing more than just crafting specialty drinks and coffees, you are brewing up heart-felt connections with our guests! With your friendly smile and welcoming presence, you'll be the first to connect with customers, making each one feel seen, valued, and at home. By listening to their unique stories and needs, you'll be the expert in creating personalized experiences that leave lasting impressions.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu

• Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

• Pack and complete order as per guests preference with necessary condiments

• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Looking for a seasonal role

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Prior barista, cafe or grab & go experience

• Describes themselves as detail-oriented

• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
