Porter/Janitor- Student Housing

Student housing community near University of Arizona campus is seeking a detail-oriented Porter/Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This job 80% outdoor and 20% indoor so you must be comfortable working outside and in the heat (job shift starts at 5am).

Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and presentable (indoor/outdoor) including bathroom cleaning, mopping, sanitizing fitness center, etc.
- Assist in all forms of groundskeeping as requested including removing leaves, palm fonds, etc.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining building security
- Handle waste management and recycling duties
- Pressure wash stairwells and common areas
- Communicate effectively with staff to address maintenance needs promptly

Hours:

-Monday-Friday

-5AM-10AM

Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance
- Strong customer service skills to interact with tenants and staff professionally
- Janitorial experience
- Proficient in English for effective communication
