Concrete Facility Maintenance Technician

We're hiring a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep our cement ready-mix plant running at peak performance. salary: $55,000 - $66,500 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment such as conveyors, valves, and pumps.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maintain efficient plant operations.
  
  
• Assist with electrical repairs, including motor controls and PLC systems under supervision.
  
  
• Install and maintain plumbing systems, including PVC and galvanized piping.
  
  
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or plant outages to support continuous production.
  
  
• Operate safely at heights and in outdoor or rugged conditions when required.
  
  
• Support batch plant operators in diagnosing and resolving mechanical or operational issues.
  
  
• Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to document maintenance activities and track inventory usage.
  
  
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures while working in high-noise, dusty, or hazardous environments.
  
  
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in high spaces.
  
  
• Experience in the Concrete, Asphalt or Sanitation Industry is PLUS
  
  
• Basic knowleddge of diesel mechanics is a plus

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 9 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
