Job Details High Street Hospitality Group opened in Fall 2024 in the West End neighborhood.

Our "sister restaurant", a.kitchen + bar philadelphia, is a seasonally-inspired American restaurant with a critically acclaimed natural wine program and cocktail bar. It has been named to Wine Enthusiasts Top 100 Wine Restaurants numerous times and JBF Semifinalist Outstanding WIne Program in 2022 and 2024.

Y ou're the first smile and the final farewell for our guests. You're not just managing reservations and seating tables; you're setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. You're a master of first impressions, a welcoming presence, and a discreet observer, ensuring a seamless transition from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeter : Warmly greet each guest upon arrival, radiating genuine hospitality and setting a welcoming tone.
  • Reservation Organizer: Skillfully manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow.
  • Ambiance Architect: Cultivate a serene and sophisticated atmosphere in the dining room . Request lighting and music adjustments as needed.
  • Waitlist Whisperer: Maintain an accurate waitlist, providing clear and realistic wait time estimates to guests.
  • Tabletop Conductor: Escort guests to their tables with grace and efficiency, ensuring a seamless transition to their server.
  • Fa bulo us Farewell s : Thank each guest sincerely as they leave, inviting them to return for another exceptional experience.
  • Team Collaborator: Work in harmony with the service team, communicating guest preferences and any special requests via chits . Table turns are a focus.
  • Adaptability Expert: Able to adjust to unexpected situations and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

Bonus Points:

  • Memory Magician: Recall returning guests' names and preferences, adding a personal touch to their experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, enhancing communication with international guests.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00) plus tips
