Were seeking a housekeeper whose skills will help keep our beautiful senior living community clean, attractive, comfortable, and safe. More than a cleaner, youll interact with residents to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness of our community. This position is full-time, hourly, with the following schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 8am - 4pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs a variety of tasks which provide and maintain the cleanliness and safety of resident common areas and rooms/homes.
• Sanitize, vacuum, dust and perform trash removal, and maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart and closet.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management.
• Competently operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
• Recognizes and promptly reports maintenance problems and unsafe acts or conditions.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrates responsibility for the conservation of supplies, chemicals, equipment, and utilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Required:

• Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks and communicate in a friendly, responsive manner.

The hourly base wage range is a good faith estimate of the range Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly base wage paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, geographic location and market changes. The position is also eligible to participate in Mather benefit plans and Employee Appreciation Fund.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.75 - $21 USD

Mather Place is an independent living rental community for those 62 and better, located in the heart of Chicagos North Shore in Wilmette, Illinoisa short walk from Old Orchard shopping center. Mather Place includes 179 independent living apartment homes, as well as two restaurants, a fitness center, an art studio, a library, and more.

Mather Place is located at 2801 Old Glenview Road in Wilmette.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($19.75 - $21.00)
