Summary:

As the Valet Parking Attendant, you play an important role in guest service and valet operations. You are responsible for first contact with guests who come to the valet entrance, and the safe transportation of guest vehicles.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner ensuring the utmost in vehicle safety
  • Greet guests upon arrival and answer questions including information regarding property products, services and/or events
  • Assist guests in and out of their vehicles, as necessary
  • Verify with guests if they are checking-in while inquiring if assistance with luggage is needed
  • Walk around the vehicle and document any existing damage on the key packet
  • Accurately issue tickets, ensuring the guests keys are properly logged and secured
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage for guests, as necessary
  • Ensure vehicles are locked and secure while in the possession of the property
  • Work in the Key Booth as needed
  • Ensure property driveways are kept clear and clean
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if it applies to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the companys guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferred
  • Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly under all driving conditions
  • Previous experience working in a team or group environment
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Able to effectively and safely drive all vehicle types, including both standard and automatic transmissions
  • Ability to safely back vehicles into parking spaces, sometimes with limited space
  • At least 21 Years of Age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
  • Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
  • Regularly standing and walking
  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
  • Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
  • Occasionally move throughout the property
  • Ability to ascend and descent stairs
