Lead Server, Blackwolf Run

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
  • Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell.
  • Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.
  • Greets guests and presents them with the menu when applicable.
  • Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction with the food and service.
  • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
  • Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests.
  • Assist with training serving staff and overseeing the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering stock replenishment.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new associates

This is a part time position with shifts on weekdays & weekends, varying between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Safe Serve Certified, or ability to complete upon hire
  • 2+ years previous experience as a server
  • Previous leadership and banquet experience preferred
