We are looking for team members who want to be a part of a growing hospitalitygroup! Made up of 4 award winning brands (Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mikes Subs, Limestone BBQ and Bourbon, and Eggspectation) we offer manyopportunities for growth across franchise and independent brands.
Position Overview
Our Servers primary focus is to create dining experiences worth celebrating which in turn createloyalty. This position is guest-focused, team-focused, and community-connected. This individualshould be outgoing, positive, and make guests feel welcome. In this position, the Server isresponsible for taking food and beverage orders accurately, delivering them in a timely manner,and making sure the needs of the guests are met. This individual should have an eye for detail, bedetail oriented, be able to work well under pressure with hosts/hostesses, cooks, bussers, andmanagement and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • In a timely manner, provide a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and engage inconversation.
  • Be knowledgeable about food and beverage options and present them in an informational,friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Provide a unique, personalized experience to guests through personal connections andgenuine interactions with the ability to remain professional
  • Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions pertaining to the food andbeverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions when asked
  • Correctly enter orders into Point of Sale system for transmittal to kitchen staff and in propersequence and appropriate charges
  • Check guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements forconsumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take corrective action toensure guest satisfaction
  • Practice safe food and bag handling and cleanliness at all times
  • Follow steps of service and other company standards
  • Address guest concerns and inform Managers as needed
  • Encourage contactless payment in brands where it is available or collect and accuratelyprocess guest payments by handling money, making necessary changes, and processingcredit card transactions
  • Bus tables and ensure table is guest ready for next guest
  • Perform shift change and/or opening or closing duties
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills and Abilities Required
  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills
  • Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
  • The confidence and ability to connect with guests
  • Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
  • Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
  • Conflict management skills, analytical skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence inorder to recognize and solve
  • Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines while engaging guests and customizingtheir experience
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
  • Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, covering shifts as necessary,and being on time for scheduled shifts
  • Ability to make sure the guest leaves satisfied and impressed with the food and service.
Education and Experience Required
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • 1-2 experience preferred, but will train
  • ABC Certification
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20-25 lbs.
  • Ability to access online scheduling app.
  • Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by both federal andstate laws
