What will you do?
  • Set up tables following the banquet event orders
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly; replenish buffet line food as needed
  • Monitor guest needs, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handle any guest complaints
  • Follow all alcoholic beverage policies and procedures
  • Break down the event according to company procedures
More about you
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Minimum of 1-3 months of previous experience in food beverage service or related guest service environment preferred
  • Ability to complete the required pre-employment food safety and alcohol service training
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple table assignments at one time
  • Ability to work with the varying event schedule is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including listening skills and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly
Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up of functions
  • Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of the shift; may include walking up and down stairs
  • Good mobility to maneuver between tables to deliver food to customers
  • Oversee events indoors as well as outdoors, regardless of weather conditions
  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending onthe season
