South Bowl located in South Philly, is looking for a talented line cook. We cook and prepare thoughtful new American cuisine for an ever fluctuating and demanding customer base.
In order to be considered for the line cook position you must be able to:
Set up, organize, and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service
Cook menu items and be highly communicative with the rest of the kitchen staff
Stock and rotate inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously with all stations, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Have high standards of cleanliness and treat the kitchen as if it were your office
Culinary Degree or high volume experience in an upscale/ unique environment required

Stations are Pizza/Grill/Salad/Fry/Saute- Ideal candidate has interest in learning all stations. Must be available to work nights and weekends- in time and number of shifts can be flexible.
