This position has demonstrated competence in every landscape and grounds task, including maintenance of turf, landscape beds, trees and associated tools and equipment.Job Function:
95% Technical Skills and responsibilities of a Groundskeeper. Landscape Maintenance. Troubleshoots landscape issues. Manage landscape installation. Equipment operation and Safety.Marginal Functions:
5% Participates in work with other Landscape and Grounds crews and other Physical Facilities departments as needed. Assists with campus emergencies and special events as directed by supervisor. This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.Supervision Received:
Close supervision. The incumbent's work is reviewed by the supervisor for accuracy and to ensure instructions are being followed.Statement(s) of Understanding
