Fine European Pastry Shop & Cafe seeks Experienced Barista

A upscale world renowned classic European pastry/ coffee/ wine shop located in historic downtown Larkspur and for 33 years has been a staple of the community, our products are shipped all over the world and we have been featured on Food Networks Best Thing I Ever Ate. We are looking for that perfect (see description of perfect below) person to join the team.

If you are the type of person who is engaging with great conversation, remembers guests names and orders, works well with many types of personalities and is reliable, showing up to work on time with a positive attitude, this is the place for you. While it is helpful to have some foundation in coffee, we prefer an impressive, consistent job experience track record and someone who projects a strong work ethic.

Requirements:
Provide consistent, engaging customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Craft and serve exceptional drinks and pastries
Adhere to local and company policies including excellence in food safety
Keep the cafe running smoothly by working with and supporting your team
Relate well with guests and team members in a social and dynamic environment
Great customer service
Must have the ability to work until 6:30 pm
Cash Handling, Familiar with Clover POS a plus
