Experienced Barista/FOH Position

Chickys General Store is a busy community shop in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. We make & bake everything fresh in house. We are currently searching for someone who is passionate and experienced to take on a FOH counter server/Barista position. You MUST HAVE EXCELLENT barista skills as we are a high-volume, fast-paced shop. Coffee art is helpful, but not required. This person will need to provide customer service, execute beverages, & help ensure operation is running smoothly when working foh.
There is opportunity for potential hybrid position with BOH to work on the line making sandwiches and assisting with prep work if you also have experience in this area.

We are looking for candidates who have:
- strong knowledge on coffee
- excellent customer service & communication skills
- experience with POS systems & delivery systems
- open availability, at least one weekend day is required
- ability to work in a team setting
- ability to adapt, learn and work under pressure
- ability to maintain a hygienic work environment & cleaning routinely while following safety & security measures
- $20 per hour plus tips
