Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
- Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
- Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
- Address guest concerns and inform manager
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Previous Server or restaurant experience preferred
- Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
- English language and professional communications skills are required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Physical Demands
- Mobility required during the entire shift
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
- Consistently operates registers (Point of Sales System)
