Position Summary: Family Medicine and Urgent Care Receptionist

Essential Job Functions:

• Welcomes patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries appropriately.
• Scheduling appointments in person, by telephone, or through computer software systems.
• Obtains and accurately records patient demographics, insurance, and billing information.
• Collects co-payments, receives payments, and reconciles daily cash reports.
• Responds appropriately to unexpected office events.
• Contributes to the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable, friendly, and professional
• Medical office experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 5 pm. Once a month, Saturday and Sunday availability.
