ABOUT PARAMOUNTHOTEL NEW YORK

Paramount Hotel is a New York City landmark locatedjust steps from Times Square. Constructed in the French Renaissance style byThomas W. Lamb in 1927, the building reflects the theatrical character of itsneighborhood. The bustle of the street disappears as you step inside - with itstwo-story lobby, reflective fireplace, dramatic lighting, and rich textures, itsets the stage for a hip, indulgent experience. Recently updated but retainingits historical charm, the Paramount Hotel is standing out as the only hotelnear Broadway NYC with genuine personality.

Kind of a no brainer to take this iconic hotelwith us on our Generator journey. Whilemaking sure to keep its rich character - we are giving it the best parts of ourGenerator DNA in order to transform this into a social driven, loud andwelcoming community hot spot (with some kick-ass parties & events, ofcourse).

Whats the job?

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Overseesthe daily operations of the Housekeeping department, including bedrooms andpublic areas, ensuring they are maintained and consistent with companystandards
• Respondto all guest requests and guest opportunities in a timely and efficient mannerto ensure guest satisfaction
• Becommercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs &departmental budgets
• Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies
• Oversees the repair and service requests for maintenance issues; ensuresall service work is completed in a timely manner
• Take accountability for managing laundry and labour controls
• Have an eye for detail and ensure brand standards are adhered to
• Manage, train and inspire the team, driving performance through hands onleadership
• Facilitate the flow of information throughout the department, byorganising regular handovers and team meetings
• Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH.Manage all audit processes to a high standard, ensuring 100% Health and Safetycompliance throughout the hotel

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• 3 years experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry
• Working knowledge in all aspects ofHousekeeping Department
• Experience with PMS hotel systems
