POSITION SUMMARY:

Servers / Waiters / Waitresses are responsiblefor serving alcohol, must be 18 years or older. Will be required to complete R.A.M.P. certification within first 90 days of employment

Servers / Waiters / Waitresses are responsible for coordinating entire station andcommunicating with dining room and deli personnel to provide a diningexperience that meets or exceeds guest expectations. Follows all mandatorysuggestive selling techniques. Processes guests orders to ensure that all itemsare prepared properly and in a timely manner. Observes diners to ensure guestsare satisfied with food and service, responds to additional requests anddetermines when the meal has been completed. Presents bill and accuratelyhandles payment. Makes change for cash transactions and accurately tracks allpayment methods, including coupons and discounts. Maintains a clean andorganized station, completes daily and weekly cleaning and daily restocking.

Major Responsibilities: Primary duties andresponsibilities for Servers / Waiters / Waitresses include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure theircomplete satisfaction. Always striving to exceed our guests expectations.
- Passes all required Server Floor and SecretShopper Evaluations.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu,passing the menu test with a 75% or better and accurately explains the menu tocustomers.
- Knows table numbers and sections to ensureproper communication between Host/Hostesses, Servers and Deli.
- Obtains assigned service station from Manager onDuty/Head Server/Floor Manager at the start of work shift.
- Promptly greets and provides name to guests,informing them of soups, specials, specific menu items and makes suggestionsper Isaacs standards. Accurately answers questions regarding food, beveragesand service.
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests andproperly processes guests orders to ensure all items are prepared properly andon a timely basis.
- Promptly serves food and beverage items.

- Checks back with tables periodically, throughoutservice, to ensure customer satisfaction, asking specific product questions andto determine when the meal has been completed. Handles customer complaintsprofessionally and appropriately.
- Presents dessert menu and makes a specificdessert recommendation.
- Presents bill and accurately handles guest checkpayment and cash transactions. Makes change for cash transactions and preparesvoucher for credit and gift card purchases. Accurately tracks all paymentmethods, including coupons and discounts.
- Thanks all customers and invites them to return.
- Maintains all time guidelines for service asestablished by management.
- Stocks and re-stocks work stations, keeping themclean and organized. Removes soiled dishes and silverware from tables when theguest is finished with food items in a timely manner. Cleans, sanitizes andresets table after guests leave.
- Informs Manager on Duty of inventory supplyneeds daily and as needed.
- Checks to ensure that all food displays aremerchandised attractively as per Isaacs standards.
- Maintains appropriate portion control andmerchandising standards when serving hot/cold items.
- Maintains proper food handling, safety andsanitation standards while serving food and clean-up according topre-determined procedures.
- Cleans up spills in dining room and serviceareas immediately.
- Assists with dishes and taking care of customersat the host stand as needed.
- Assists with answering the phone and accuratelyhandles takeout orders according to proper procedures.
- Assists with trash removal (and recycling binswhere appropriate) from restaurant and replaces with new bags.
- Responsible for assisting with daily and weeklyside jobs throughout the restaurant.
- Assists with tasks throughout the restaurant asneeded and requested by the Manager on Duty.
- Actively participates in food and labor costcontrol.
- Maintains professional appearance at all times,clean and well-groomed, as per Isaacs standards
- Abides by all policies, procedures and dressrequirements established by Isaacs.
-Abides by all alcohol service and handling policies and proceduresestablished by Isaacs.
-Follows all liquor laws/regulations and RAMP guidelines/recommendations

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

Some high school. Must be able to speak, read,write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location. Must be ableto speak and understand the primary languages of the guests who typically visitthe work location. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Experience:

No previous foodservice experience is needed,though it is helpful. Must possess good communication skills and be able towork with others. Must be sensitive to the needs of customers.
