THE JOB:
As a Cashier, in our new fast-casual Italian restaurant, you will be the first point of contact in creating a memorable guest experience with your warm smile and friendly service.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.34

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Accurately take and place orders, efficiently serve food and beverages, and garnish items as needed.

• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and follow all proper cash handling and comp procedures.

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including front and back of house areas, by clearing tables, wiping counters, and sweeping the dining area while ensuring guest comfort.

• Carefully pack and complete orders according to guest preferences, including providing necessary condiments.

• Perform assigned opening and closing duties based on shift requirements.

• Receive, unload, and organize warehouse deliveries, restock designated storage areas, and ensure workstations, counters, and tables remain stocked and organized.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Able to learn and understand menu items, including how beverages are prepared and served

• Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, such as toasters, refrigerators, slicers, and beverage machines.

• Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Basic computer skills with experience using various Point of Sale (POS) systems.

• One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar high-volume, fast-paced casual restaurant setting.
