The CustomerService Associate is responsible for meeting the needs of our customersby entering customer purchase orders in accordance with GenMet committedprice, leadtime and terms to create manufacturing jobs that meet on-timedelivery commitments. The Customer Service Associate acknowledges orderreceipts and confirms price, term and date commitments using establishedguidelines. Duties and responsibilities Build and develop effectivelong-term relationships with customers by establishing and maintaininggood rapport, using positive language and anticipating their needsRespond promptly and clearly to customer questions and check forcustomer understanding and acceptance Ensure GenMet is fully acquaintedwith our customers\' requirements for quality and on-time delivery.Document customer interactions when necessary, compiling documents andforwarding information to interested parties including solicited andunsolicited customer feedback Promptly enter customer purchase ordersand revisions. Review customer contracts and supply agreements to ensurethat all customer requirements (price, invoicing, packaging, labeling,etc.) are identified and appropriately implemented within GenMet Ensureall Customers are aware of and accept GenMet\'s terms and conditions forsupplying parts. Create, maintain and control customer part files.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues. Provide job status tocustomers as required. Maintain and improve Customer Satisfaction andthe associated metrics. Initiate Non-Conformances and Corrective Actionsfrom customer feedback as needed. Ensure issue resolution through theappropriate resource. Provide customers with Return MaterialAuthorization, enter and monitor rework jobs as necessary and enterrelated information in the Quality Toolkit. Develop, revise andcontinuously improve GenMet\'s order entry and customer serviceinstructions, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as neededQualifications Associate\'s Degree in a manufacturing or businessdiscipline or equivalent experience (2-3 years) in a relevant industryis required Familiarity and comfort with Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) systems required JobBOSS preferred Responsiveness, thoroughness,attention to detail, perseverance and follow through are necessary. Wellorganized, attention to detail and self-directed to complete tasks in atimely manner Effectively communicates internally and externally togather information, ask questions and support issues or needs Proficientin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Physical Requirements Mustbe able to safely and successfully perform the job functions Must beable to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.
