Margaritas is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook tojoin our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparingmeals according to our standard recipes, ensuring each dish is executedwith excellence. This position requires a dedicated individual whothrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providinghigh-quality food consistently. Key Responsibilities: \* Prepare andcook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. \*Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as setby the restaurant. \* Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washingdishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc. \* Ensure properfood safety and sanitation standards to guarantee the health and safetyof guests and staff. \* Handle, store, and rotate all products properlyin accordance with restaurant policies. \* Operate standard kitchenequipment safely and efficiently. \* Maintain inventory of kitchensupplies and food items required for service. \* Assist with the setup,service, and cleanup of the kitchen. \* Provide assistance to othercooks during peak periods or as needed. Skills and Qualifications: \*Proven experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook. \*Formal training through a culinary arts program preferred but notnecessary. \* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods,ingredients, equipment, and procedures. \* Familiarity with industrybest practices. \* Ability to work well under pressure and takedirection. \* Strong communication and organizational skills. \*Detail-oriented, especially when performing technical tasks likemeasuring and mixing ingredients. \* Physical stamina to withstand longhours standing and moving in a busy environment. \* Flexibility to workevenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: \* Ability tostand for extended periods. \* Ability to reach, bend, stoop, andfrequently lift up to 50 pounds. \* Ability to work in a hot, hecticenvironment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavyitems for extended periods.
