As a Bar Back you will be responsible for the initialpreparation and servicing of the bar, making sure that all items arestocked, allowing us to serve our guests their drink of choice.Recognized as one of Milwaukee\'s most esteemed hotels with an eliteaward repertoire, Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel offers a modern, luxuryexperience with artistic flair. As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage adiverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, andentertainment seekers. What will you be doing? Prepare perishablegarnishes, fruits, and juices according to business levels. Assist inmaintaining adequate supplies for bar. Retrieve and verify orders fromstoreroom for accuracy. Store products properly and in designated areas.Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards in bar areas.Scoop and transport ice to service areas. Transport and maintainportable bars and tap units. Assist with additional duties as requestedby management. What we are looking for: Prior bar experience preferred.Must be knowledgeable in preparation of alcoholic beverages includingadhering to all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulationspertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicatedguests. Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper deliveryamounts, understand portion sizes, and assist with inventory. Sufficientmanual dexterity of hands and arms in order to use a knife, pick upglassware and bottles, scoop ice, tap kegs, and extend arms overhead tostock items. Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in orderto provide service as requested by bartenders, managers and guests.Ability to read and comprehend safe-handling instructions of productsand equipment. Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise,move or push goods on hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.What\'s in it for you?
