Maintenance Technician Job Description Under general supervision, this position safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning in compliance with company policies. Must have experience working on conveyor systems and production line equipment. Responsibilities Interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals and other related documents. Conduct advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Perform various hot work tasks. Order supplies and repair items as necessary. Set up and operate equipment used to make and repair parts, such as a lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools. Troubleshoot low voltage PLCs. Use trade math with drawings and precision measuring instruments. Utilize office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS). Work Environment This position requires candidates to work on-site at the manufacturing facility. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:30 pm , with additional Friday or weekend work as necessary. Overtime may be required as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Las Vegas, Nevada Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $32.05/hr.
