Gjelina is seeking experienced Servers to join our dynamic team in the heart of Venice. As part of the Gjelina Group, were committed to delivering thoughtfully nuanced guest experiences with a focus on ingredient-driven food, wines, and warm hospitality.
About the Role: Servers are the face of our guest experienceproviding attentive, knowledgeable service that reflects the values of Gjelina. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, food, and beverage. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment that demands both grace and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional, guest-focused service during day and night shifts
Maintain in-depth knowledge of menus, ingredients, wines, and cocktails
Communicate clearly with team and guests, including allergy awareness
Set and reset floor before/after service, complete side work
Follow all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
Uphold high standards of appearance, hygiene, and professionalism
Attend pre-shift meetings and training sessions
What Were Looking For:
Hospitality-first mindset and commitment to teamwork
Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
Experience in high-volume or fine dining preferred
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift 3050 lbs, work on your feet for 812 hours, and handle repetitive motion
Knowledge of POS systems and service protocols
Completion of state alcohol and harassment training is required
