MUST:
2+years of medical office experience in a private practice specialty office
Experience working for a GI practice a plus
Strong customer service skills
Experience checking patients in and collecting insurance information
Verifying experience
Scheduling procedure appointments
Comfortable reviewing procedure prep and procedures with patients
Strong documentation skills
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

DUTIES:
The Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to the following:
Schedule procedure appointments
Check patients out
Obtain and verify insurance
Obtain pre-auths
Entering patient information into EMR
Collecting co-pays and outstanding payments
Providing customer service
