THE JOB:
As a Poker Room Host, you play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests in the poker room. In this role you will manage the player waitlist, assist with seating, start and monitor games, and support the overall flow of operations. Through your strong collaboration and a team-oriented mindset, you will assist dealers and staff in maintaining tables, ensure efficient daily operations.

THE STARTING RATE : $12.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience by greeting and seating guests, opening games as directed by the supervisor, and answering questions or explaining rules as needed

• Develop customer relations, facilitate usage of the MGM rewards card and evaluate play for complimentary purposes

• Get players checks and maintain poker table banks to ensure efficient operation

• Responsible for tracking players by using computer tracking system

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented personality
