POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines; assists with slot installation and slot floor moves.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assures security of slot machines in accordance with company policy and Gaming Regulations and possesses knowledge of Gaming Regulations pertaining to slot machines.
2. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
3. Inspects slot machines for malfunctions and tampering.
4. Provides technical advice to Slot Shift Manager/Supervisor regarding jackpot payouts and disputes.
5. Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.
6. Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements:

1. Excellent email and oral communication skills.
2. Role model great Guest Service and teamwork.
3. Knowledge of the reward programs for our guests.
4. Understands department procedures, Internal Controls, and instructs peers on the correct procedures.
5. Able to learn Slot Equipment to include:

• Learn all aspects of Slot Performance related to Internal Controls and regulations.
• Identification of Slot Equipment on the casino floor by manufacturer and model.
• Identification of all components in the slot machine and where to find a replacement for worn equipment.
• Learn how to read slot glass and pay tables.
• Know how to operate power tools and other shop equipment safely and correctly.
• Be able to learn how SDS works and be able to identify and repair all its parts components, as well as how to run all the reports applicable to Slot Performance.
• Learn how to troubleshoot and repair common problems and the new or uncommon problems that occur within the slot machines on the casino floor.
• Learn how to troubleshoot, set up, and option for all Progressive controllers, slot machines and other systems on the casino floor pertaining to slots.
• Have the capacity to learn and understand EMAIL, WORD, and EXCEL.
• Learn how to operate a Kobetron unit, including EPROMS, Thumb drives, and CDs.

Prerequisites/Preferred Qualifications

1. Electrical/Electronic experience preferred.
2. Casino/slot knowledge is preferred.
3. Must possess basic computer skills.
4. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted and 250lbs assisted.
5. Must be able to attain and maintain and Occupation Gaming License as required by the Illinois gaming Board.

Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 (Depending on Experience)
