About the Role: Join our team at Planet Fitness in Medina, OH as an Overnight Services team member! This exciting role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our members. Job Summary Overnight Services will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all infrastructure of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shared with the present Overnight person.

• Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
  • Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and doing your best to make members feel comfortable and welcome!
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members in, tour and sign-up new members, log amenities and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
• Member Accounts:
  • Utilize POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address and billing or payment questions.
• Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all infrastructure areas,
  • restrooms, locker room areas, main club mirrors, and all floors nightly
  • Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
  • Stock and maintain the cooler and beverages
  • Repair and/or report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.)

Qualifications/Requirements Custodial, Housekeeping, Facilities Maintenance, and/or Customer/Guest Services experience is preferred. Punctuality and reliability are a must. 10 PM - 6 AM Sunday - Thursday.
Ability to work the third shift, Sunday through Thursday, is required Honesty and exceptional work ethic. Ability to work and solve problems independently. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Maintain a good working relationship with other staff High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• Will encounter toxic chemicals.

Compensation: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
