Senior Maintenance Worker - Neighborhood Parks Maintenance Division

The Senior Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance of city parks and squares.

• Collects and removes litter.

• Trims hedges and prunes landscape plants.

• Trims and pulls weeds.

• Mows lawns.

• Applies mulch to landscape beds.

• Operates dump truck.

• Applies pesticides and herbicides.

• Plants shrubs and trees.

• Rakes and blows leaves.

• Operates lawn maintenance equipment including mowers, edgers, trimmers, and blowers.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED; with six months of experience in grounds maintenance or landscape maintenance; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Location: 16 Interchange Court Work Hours: 6:15 am - 2:45 pm

Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
