Airport Restaurant Team Member FOH&BOH_Logan International Airport (Logan International Airport) PremAir/Wow Bao Logan International Airport compensation: $20-$22 per hour based on experience employment type: experience level: no experience required job title: Restaurant Team Member Guest Services and Care: Acts with the customer experience as the first priority in every decision made. Expediently responds to guest inquiries, concerns or complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests. Operational/ Financial: Works with Kitchen Manager/Supervisor to understand ordering and purchasing of restaurant supplies. Ensures prep lists are accurately filled out. Ensures order sheets are accurately filled out. Food and Beverage Planning, Health and Safety: Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, quality and serving standards. Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen, dining and storage areas. Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Ensures that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs. Ensures that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures. Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Handles, stores and rotates all products properly. Completes food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Responsible for working prep and kitchen stations during service. Removes of all trash & garbage. This includes the clearing and maintenance of trash storage areas. Responsible for the accurate receiving, proper storage and required documentation of goods/products into the restaurant. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with company policies and standards. Completes specific cleaning and maintenance projects assigned by supervisor. Completes all assigned start of shift, end of shift, on-going side work, checklists and logs. Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen. Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement. Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager. Attends all informational and team building meetings.
