Line Cook

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food to our restaurant's specifications and standards. This includes working on a specific station, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety practices are followed.Responsibilities:-Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies-Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)-Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion-Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment-Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by our restaurant-Restock items as needed throughout the shift-Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standardsQualifications:-Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook or prep cook-Familiar with industry best practices-Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as neededPhysical Requirements:-Able to stand for long periods of time-Able to lift up to 50lbs
