What You'll Be Doing: Washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and dicing a wide array of fresh ingredients. Measuring and portioning ingredients accurately according to recipes and the chef's instructions. Assisting with basic cooking tasks such as preparing sauces, parboiling, and preparing simple components. Setting up and sanitizing workstations to ensure a clean and efficient workflow. Labeling and stocking all ingredients, ensuring proper storage and rotation. Collaborating closely with line cooks and chefs to anticipate needs and support smooth service.
