Maintenance Engineer Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both routine and corrective maintenance on essential facility systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, water-for-injection (WFI) systems, boilers, and compressed air systems, ensuring adherence to cGMP and other regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent support for production and lab processes. Conduct maintenance on Water-for-Injection (WFI) systems. Maintain and repair compressed air and steam systems. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within a cGMP or regulated environment. Hands-on experience with HVAC, WFI systems, boilers, and compressed air systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in using Building Automation Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Familiarity with cGMP standards and practices. Work Environment The role is based in a biotechnology lab environment, where you will engage with advanced technologies and systems critical to maintaining facility operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Marina Del Rey, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
