GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for coordinating and executing the organization's internal and external fundraising events including a Gala, Chefs event, Golf and Pickleball, donor stewardship, capital campaign, wine drop parties, and other events throughout the year. Interfaces with a variety of internal and external audiences: donors, volunteers, staff, and outside vendors. Responsible for other areas of fundraising as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to be associated with Casa de Amparo through Community Care Licensing (CCL), which typically includes clearance by FBI, DOJ and CACI. Bachelor's degree in fundraising, non-profit management, certified meeting professional or equivalent. Two to five years' development experience, including annual campaigns. Knowledge of fund development principles and public relations. Strong event planning, organizational, administration, follow through, telephone and interpersonal communication skills, detail and big picture oriented, with solution-driven problem-solving skills. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Donor Perfect and Greater Giving a plus. Skilled in preparing written reports and presentations. Strong writing, editing, and presentation ability. Professional appearance and demeanor, flexible and able to respond to multiple demands. Able and willing to take responsibility. Must possess reliable personal transportation and have a clean driving record if under 25 years old, and no more than 1 moving violation within the last 3 years if 25 years of age or older. Eligible to work for any employer in the US. Must have auditory, visual, and physical skills to be able to perform tasks as outlined in this job description. Must be flexible regarding work schedule.
