Job DetailsMade is looking for inspired server/bartenders who are looking to broaden their hospitality horizons! Made is Chef Cedric Vongerichten and Ochi Latjubas second-born project which opened in April this year. After the success of the Indonesian-French concept, Wayan, the couple turned their attentions to produce an intimate restaurant focused on seasonality, freshness, with a primary emphasis on seafood and vegetables. All this with a dining room and decor inspired by the beaches of Bali.
What were looking for:
We are looking to hire a small group of highly effective individuals that can produce craft cocktails. Candidate must be engaged, and passionate about food and beverage. The position requires for the candidates to think creatively and be willing to absorb the information provided. We will be providing a unique experience and having the ability to go between both positions is key to providing the service style that we are trying to achieve.

Job Description for a Bartender position
- Full time position
Previous serving & bartending experience required (1+ years Manhattan experience preferred) - Flexible availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Employee must perform opening and closing duties required of them
Must be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menus along with the items preparations, ingredients, and sourcing.
Must be passionate about cocktails and have a thorough understanding of wine
Will be required to prepare juice, bar syrups, and garnishes.
Will be required to stock and organize wine and liquor bottles.
Bartenders will occasionally be asked to count inventory
Comprehensive understanding of food
Proficient knowledge of construction of cocktail is necessary
Employee is to be personable and engaging with guests.
Applicant must have superior communication skills.
Applicant must be willing to work together with their Front of House and Back of House teammates.
Bartender must be able efficiently delegate tasks to the Barback in their team appropriate and professional manner.
Must be willing to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, specifically the bar
Position will require the employee to climb up and down stairs multiple times throughout a shift
Position will require the employee to carry items weighing 30lbs-50lbs
Compensation: Hourly ($11.50) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $1,500
